We as Vancouver residents tend to forget that we're reppin' the WESTCOAST. For a while I didn't complain much because everyone BUT the west was making bangers while the usual Snoops and Dre's kept the same formula. Where the Wild Things Are: Test Footage

So here's some test footage of Where The Wild Things Are movie. If you grew up anything like me you know about this classic kids book. I'm so stoked on this..who doesn't love all the dope shit from when they were kids! Keep in mind this is TEST FOOTAGE. I found a note from Spike Jonze (director) replying to this leaked footage:

That was a very early test with the sole purpose of just getting some footage to Ben our vfx (visual effects) supervisor to see if our vfx plan for the faces would work. The clip doesn't look or feel anything like the movie, the Wild Thing suit is a very early cringy prototype, and the boy is a friend of ours Griffin who we had used in a Yeah Yeah Yeahs video we shot a few weeks before. We love him, but he is not in the actually film...Oh and that is not a wolf suit, its a lamb suit we bought on the internet. Talk to you later... - Spike

FORT WORTH, Texas - Tellers at the Texas bank were immediately suspicious.

After all, it isn't every day someone walks in to cash a cheque with 10 zeros on it.

But police say 21-one-year-old Charles Ray Fuller of the Fort Worth suburb of Crowley tried to do just that.

Fuller now faces forgery and other charges after trying to cash a cheque for $360-billion last week.

Fuller, who was released after posting $3,750 bail, claims his girlfriend's mother gave him the cheque to start a record business, a claim the woman denies.

In addition to forgery, Fuller has been charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon and possessing marijuana.

Police say they found more than 50 grams of marijuana and a .25-calibre handgun and magazine in his pockets.

LRX Land Rover Concept

It's unclear at this point whether or not Land Rover plans to put this into production but the way things are going in the whip game lately my opinion is that they'll put this out for sure. The LRX concept is more lightweight and therefore, more fuel efficient than the current Lands on the street today. Check the video for now. As the decision to release the vehicle becomes more solid I'll post up more details. The headlights alone are a selling point for me!

Friday Nite was the last Major Fridays and they went out in style by having a free for all featuring a bunch of DJ's including myself (McFly) , The Freshest Kids, The Stunt man, Skilly, Brendan Butter, Relly Rels, Cherchez, and Garzita. Garzita used his Ableton(?) setup which doesn't require decks, just a good song selection and an understanding of volume haha nah I'm playin I was pretty amused by it (pics below). Shout out to El Kartel in the house, E and Jack, and all the DJ's, it's always a privelage when I get to spin with local heads. The night was complete with a girl fight and quesadillas followed by less than 6 hours of sleep. Now pardon me as I try to salvage what little braincells I have left.
